We are delighted to hear that the GC48 Planning Controls have been made permanent!
It was great to host the Planning Minister, Richard Wynne MP, on the Yarra Riverkeeper boat as he announced an important step towards realising the landmark Yarra River Protection (Wilip-gin Birrarung murron) Act and protecting and caring for your Yarra.
Also known as the Yarra River Planning Controls, these controls will work together with the Yarra Strategic Plan (of which we eagerly await for its finalisation) to help to clearly outline the land use and development of land along your Yarra River Corridor, and protect your Yarra from the threat of overdevelopment.
