Landscapes being dominated by weeds are becoming more common throughout Melbourne and they compete with native species of the area, allowing an imbalance in ecosystems. Weeds can have negative consequences to native fauna such as habitat destruction.
In June 2020, we launched our very first toolkit, the Weeding Toolkit. This Toolkit can assist you to discover and help broaden the recognition of common weeds, and acts as a guide to safely and effectively remove weeds.
Following from the success of the first toolkit, we have released an expansion of our weeding toolkit. The second edition Weeding Toolkit, introduces you to more types of weeds and discusses different types of weed management controls.
