Be part of Yarra Riverkeepers Yarra Plastic Paddle and help float the issue of plastic pollution in your Yarra!  How? We are on the hunt for plastic water bottles to construct our plastic kayaks. Help us by collecting as many bottles as possible over the next two weeks. These being plastic bottles you have collected when out about that have been littering the environment. 

Condition of the bottles: 

• Any size (1.5L preferably) 
• Not flattened
• No holes
• Doesn’t matter if it’s dirty we will wash them out! 

You would be contributing to our message in raising awareness on littering in our waterways, and how a single item can travel along the Yarra River for kms! Our waterways help transport plastic waste into bays and the ocean. 

There are multiple drop off points for plastic water bottles within Melbourne Metro on the 

08/11/21 and 09/11/21.
