Time: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

How many millions of polystyrene pieces flow down the Yarra river each year?

Where is it coming from? And what can we really do about polystyrene pollution now and in the future?

The Yarra Riverkeeper Association has gathered these answers over the last 3 years and even more anecdotes about how polystyrene has become so prevalent on the Yarra.

We are excited to be able to invite you to learn more about these findings while connecting to solutions and innovation.

Anthony Despotellis, YRKA Litter Officer, will be leading the conversation around his latest research: “Polystyrene Pollution in the Yarra River : Deep Dive”

The presentation offers understanding, the work stands as evidence and together they set the stage for discussion and ultimately, change.

Additionally, we will have a guest speaker (TBC) and an art exhibition with pieces made out of polystyrene and waste materials by Mosaic Artist.

Join us to discover the facts about the problem, the potential solutions, and actions toward a Yarra/Birrarung that is healthy, protected and loved.

We have limited tickets available!

Make sure you grab yours in time to be part of this incredible event.

Refreshments will be provided.

We look forward to seeing you!
