Let’s Get Wild at Westerfolds will be a chance to discover, connect and conserve with the many plants, animals and little critters that call this pocket by your Yarra home. The walking conservation tour will involve talks from the Yarra Riverkeeper Regeneration Team as well as guest speakers (to be announced soon!).

Spanning across 120 hectares, and sitting right next to your Yarra , Westerfolds is a metropolitan oasis for the local community and many native birds, mammals, trees and reptiles.

Some of the many species that call this pocket of greenery home include wombats, grey-headed flying foxes, sugar-gliders, kangaroos, river red gums and grassy woodlands. You might even spot the threatened Swift Parrot!
