Buttman Planet Defence raises awareness about cigarette butt litter and plastic pollution through an inclusive and colourful campaign that seeks to educate and inspire behaviour change throughout the community.

The Little Litter Project educates people about the impacts of littering, equips the community with tools to better manage waste and hosts clean up events.

The Friends of Scotchmans Creek and Valley Reserve (FSCVR) is based in the City of Monash and organises a range of activities to engage the community and care for the Scotchmans Creek corridor and the adjacent Valley Reserve.
One of their main activities is a revegetation program which they undertake in co-operation with the Monash City Council Horticultural department. Their Water watch group and river officer take a keen interest in the creek and regularly monitor the water quality and creek condition.
