creature.
Carina has a background in park planning, business and management. She holds an Arts degree and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hort) which led to her interest in the restoration of natural ecosystems. Working for 16 years with Parks Victoria, Carina coordinated statewide conservation programs and led the urban park planning function. Carina left the public sector to learn about the business world and owned and ran a farm-based hospitality business for 6 years. She is currently midway through a Masters of Business Administration and has found her niche as Operations Manager with the Riverkeeper applying business and finance experience, underpinned by environmental management knowledge to act on her commitment to being a contributor to the solutions needed to heal nature and respond to climate change. Carina is a rower, cyclist and gardener and is on or by the Birrarung almost every day. Carina also serves as a member of the Committee of Management for the Collingwood Children’s Farm and is a life member of the Friends of Darebin Parklands.
