Time: 9:00 am - 11:30 am
Connect with nature, get your hands dirty and meet your neighbours at a Yarra River community working bee. Each month join local experts and Stonnington council staff to learn about this little patch of the Yarra, the plants and wildlife that call the area home and how to protect and restore habitat.
We will be joining the Stonnington City Council’s program in April. This session will involve learning about how we work to protect green spaces and biodiversity, improve water quality and increase the communities understanding of this iconic river and its role in the life of the city of Melbourne.
Bring a hat, closed toe shoes, sunscreen and water. This will be a COVID safe event. Hand sanitiser will be provided and all attendees will sign in for contact tracing.
