Graeme’s report: The Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act plays a vital role in protecting Australia’s environmental framework. It is currently under review and Professor Graeme Samuel AC has been appointed as the independent reviewer to oversee the process. As observant people, we are all aware that our environment is in the midst of an extinction crisis. Graeme’s Interim report of the independent review of the EPBC Act 1999 focuses on the fundamental problems of the legislation and puts forth reforms that will reverse the decline of Australia’s iconic wildlife, water, and forest ecosystem.
