About this event

Several Australian Rivers have a ‘Riverkeeper’, a person or organisation that acts as a community link for government agencies and groups along the river, offering facilitation, coordination, and evidence-based policy recommendations and stewardship in protecting rivers.

Does the Maribyrnong River need a Maribyrnong Riverkeeper? If so, what should their primary focus be? How would a Maribyrnong Riverkeeper assist your agency or organisation?

Have your say at the Maribyrnong River Conservation Strategy Forum. This facilitated networking event will provide an opportunity for you to meet various stakeholders in the Maribyrnong Catchment , to share your experience in advocating for the Maribyrnong and to shape the future protection and management of the River.

Join us, In Real Life, Real Time, at Essendon Rowing Club, with spectacular views of the river for an interactive morning. Morning tea will be provided.
